escambo
Escambo is a citrus and tropical dance piece. The work manifests the opening of the senses as a substantial role, inviting the public to a game of aromas, colors, rhythms and movement. By transferring 50 oranges from its traditional context to the stage, the proposal broadens the notion of everyday life and proposes fresh aesthetic and sensory perceptions. Escambo means barter in Portuguese and is structured as a choreographic board that releases color into space through movement. A fun back and forth game between the sensory, the architectural, the performers and the viewer.
