Orange blossom

Azahar is a project that integrates elements of video, dance and architecture from the 11th century, to represent in a symbolic way or time the links that may exist between the past and the present. In a dialogue between two women, the aroma of the laranjeira flower, orange blossom, is used as a metaphor to rescue a direct connection with the past, where, through the e_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_o olfato, these two women connect with remote words and emotions.

The unconscious dwells or deepest of the human being; a sem-fim of memories and riches, which transports us to a state of timelessness. Assim, numerosos escritores contemporâneos, refletiram em suas narrações: anseios, desejos e nostalgias que, para além do pensamento saturado, são impulsionadas por this sensation, as subtle as inata. «It will be on the surface of my clear consciousness that is a memory, that ancient moment that, at the attraction of an identical moment, feared to request so long, to eat and rise no fundo do meu ser?», pergunta-se Proust to drink a xícara de qualum bolinhogiu.

The City of Granada in Spain (chosen for the realization of Orange Blossom), an important cultural mestiçagem berço, offers the passer-by the opportunity to perceive the weight of history without the need for it to be reflected and embedded_cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_chronologically and specifically.
